Tasksquatch LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates Morning Do. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the Morning Do app and related support services.

Important: Morning Do is a productivity tool and is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice.

1. Information We Collect

We collect limited account, content, usage, and diagnostic data to provide Morning Do's core features and improve reliability. We do not use this data for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising.

Account Information: When you sign in, we collect account profile data such as your email address, display name, public profile photo URL (if provided by your sign-in provider), and an account identifier such as your user ID to maintain your account and sync your data.
Routine, Task, and Progress Data: We store the routines you create and use, including task titles, descriptions, durations, icon selections, settings, reminder preferences, and routine progress data.
Task Data and Routine Configuration: We collect the task-related information you choose to create or save in Morning Do, such as custom task prompts, saved custom task details, AI-generated task titles and descriptions, task image references, durations, routine ordering, and related routine configuration data. If you use AI-assisted task creation, the short prompt text you enter may be sent to our AI service provider to generate task data.
Usage and Diagnostic Data: If analytics or observability features are enabled, we may collect limited product-interaction, performance, crash, and other diagnostic data to understand product usage, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability. This telemetry is designed not to include direct identifiers like your email address, but some technical data may still be reasonably linkable to your account or account-owned content.

2. Audience and Family-Safe Use

Morning Do is a general-audience, family-safe productivity app designed to support students, families, teens, and young adults with calm, structured routines.

General-Audience Positioning: Morning Do is not marketed as a child-only product or as a medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic service.
Family Use: Families and caregivers may choose to use Morning Do with children or teens, but the app experience is also intended to work for independent teen and young adult use.
Children's Privacy: If a child uses Morning Do, that use should take place with parent or caregiver involvement as appropriate for the child's age and local legal requirements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Authenticate your access to the app.
Create and maintain your account profile, including profile display information supplied by your sign-in provider.
Associate your account identifier with your routines, settings, and saved task data.
Save and synchronize your routines across devices.
Store routine progress, task data, generated task data, and routine configuration so the app can provide its task-creation and timer features.
Provide the timer and shrinking-slice visual features.
Send essential service messages related to your account.
Analyze product interaction, performance, crash, and diagnostic data to improve app reliability and investigate issues.
Respond to customer support requests.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party services for specific technical infrastructure. These providers only access data required to perform these duties on our behalf:

Authentication Services: (for example, Google Firebase Auth and Apple Sign-In) to manage secure logins and provide account profile data such as your name or public profile photo URL.
Cloud Storage: To store your account, routine, task, progress, and related app data securely in the cloud.
Analytics and Observability Services: (for example, Sentry, Crashlytics, or SigNoz) to process product-interaction, performance, crash, and diagnostic telemetry to help us detect bugs and improve the app.
AI Service Providers: If you use AI-assisted task creation, user-entered prompts and related task data may be processed by our AI service provider to generate task data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and app data only as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and maintain operational records.

Data Deletion Instructions

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. When you request deletion, we will delete your account profile data, user ID and related account metadata, routine configurations, task data, generated task data, and image references from our active systems.

Some diagnostic records, logs, or backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion until they are overwritten or removed in the normal course of operations.

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

Open the Morning Do app.
Navigate to the Settings tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Confirm your choice in the pop-up dialog. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 2: Email Request

If you are unable to access the app, you may request data deletion by contacting us directly:

Email us at support@tasksquatch.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
Include the email address associated with your account.
We will process your request within 30 days and confirm via email once your data has been permanently purged from our active systems.

6. Security

We implement standard industry security measures, including encryption and secure communication standards, to protect your personal information and routine data from unauthorized access.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via the email associated with your account.
