Tasksquatch ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Morning Do mobile application. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.
Important: Morning Do is a productivity tool and is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice.
1. Information We Collect
We collect limited information necessary to provide the functionality of the app (creating routines and tracking progress).
- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect authentication data (such as an email address and password) to secure your account and sync your data.
- Routine & Task Data: We store the routine configurations you build, including task titles, descriptions, durations, and icon selections.
- User Content: If you assign custom images (via Image URI) to specific tasks, we store the references to display them within the app.
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous, non-personal data regarding app performance and crash logs to help us improve the experience.
2. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Morning Do is designed as a tool to help you organize your daily routines.
- Parental Control: We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental consent. The account is created, owned, and configured by the Parent/Guardian.
- Data Usage: Data regarding routine progress is used solely to provide the app's core functionality (timers and routine tracking). We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Authenticate your access to the app.
- Save and synchronize your routines across devices.
- Provide the timer and "shrinking slice" visual features.
- Respond to customer support requests.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party services for specific technical infrastructure. These providers only access data required to perform these duties on our behalf:
- Authentication Services: (e.g., Google Firebase Auth, Apple Sign-In) to manage secure logins.
- Cloud Storage: To store your routine configurations securely in the cloud.
- Analytics: (e.g., Sentry, Crashlytics, SigNoz) to detect bugs and crashes (data is anonymized).
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account data only as long as your account is active.
Data Deletion Instructions
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. When you request deletion, we will permanently remove your account information, routine configurations, task data, and image references from our servers.
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the Morning Do app.
- Navigate to the Profile tab (Configuration Hub).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account."
- Confirm your choice in the pop-up dialog. (Note: This action is immediate and cannot be undone.)
Option 2: Web/Email Request
If you are unable to access the app, you may request data deletion by contacting us directly:
- Email us at support@tasksquatch.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
- Please include the email address associated with your account.
- We will process your request within 30 days and confirm via email once your data has been permanently purged from our systems.
6. Security
We implement standard industry security measures (encryption and secure communication standards) to protect your personal information and your child's routine data from unauthorized access.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via the email associated with your account.
